Granite Sett Cobble Driveway Restoration in Rochdale:
We were called out to restore a traditional cobble driveway in Rochdale that had become worn and uneven over time. The original granite sett cobbles had lost their definition due to aging mortar and surface movement, leaving the area looking tired and in desperate need of attention.
Our first step was to carefully remove all of the old concrete joints throughout the driveway. These were replaced using Flowpoint grout, which provides a durable, long-lasting finish while enhancing the appearance of the individual setts.
Next, we lifted and re-laid sections of the driveway where dips and movement occured. This ensured a level, even surface and improved drainage across the area. Every granite sett was meticulously reinstalled to preserve the original charm of the driveway while strengthening its overall structure.
The result is a beautifully restored cobble driveway that retains its character while offering a clean, solid and practical finish that will stand the test of time.
